Architectural Joinery

Catton Windows offer bespoke architectural joinery for a variety of fittings and structures for your home in Norwich and Norfolk. Whether you require windows, doors, a conservatory or an orangery, we are able to provide a full range of architectural joinery services. We can also create bespoke fascias, mouldings, barge boards and more that can be matched to the specifications of your property, including historic, listed and period buildings.

We are proud to be one of the few companies who still manufacture our products in our own workshop. Our three facilities cover the production of the fittings or structures, inspection and fine sanding, and finally, the painting and glazing process. While we do use machinery, none of it is automated. We work primarily by hand and can tailor every step of our process to our customers’ needs.

However, our architectural joinery services don’t begin in the workshops. We offer a full CAD design and consultation service to all customers, where we carry out a comprehensive survey of your site and allow you to tell us exactly what you need. Then, we draw up your chosen specifications and confirm all details of the product before we begin the manufacturing process.

We offer a complete solution, from designing the product, planning and completing the installation to making sure any building regulations are met.

We are hardwood specialists and can use a variety of options for your architectural joinery needs. Our default woods are Meranti and European Oak, but we also use Accoya, a treated, environmentally-friendly alternative to tropical hardwood which has been thoroughly tested for dimensional stability, durability and paint retention to ensure optimal performance.
